Contemporary Works That Echo And Honour Nature
I paint and draw subjects that move me closer to the natural world. Each drawing or painting is a way to honour nature and for me, an exercise in connecting to it.
My intention is to create work that facilitates your own sense of connection with the Earth.
My Gallery And Studio In West Wiltshire
Nestled in the beautiful Barton Farm Country Park in Bradford on Avon between the river Avon and the Kennet and Avon canal I work in my cow shed which doubles as a shop/gallery and studio. A massive 14th century tithe barn is visible from my work station. Buzzards, herons and red tailed kites are common overhead and I have Thomas my goldfish as my constant companion. There are 6 other creative makers and artists set around our magical secret garden, as well as Vixy’s Cafe, making the tithe barn workshops the go to destination/ artists quarter of Bradford on Avon.

This is me.
Jacqueline Byrne, married, artist, singer, lover of village life, keeping hens, growing things, horses, the sea, occasional swimming in wild places, music, sitting still in our garden, naps, my goldfish, getting older, …. These are some of the things that bring me joy. In between those things the usual human struggles occur and I endeavour to be mindful and grateful for my many good fortunes. One of the greatest being my deep connection, curiosity and love of nature and having a career that reflects that! I hope my work resonates with you and I am truly thankful to every customer as you are making it possible for me to keep being an artist. So far so good!
